Most Popular Art Prints of 2024

Here we are again, at the end of another year. I hope you had a great 2024! I had a fantastic year with travel to favorite places (Sweden and Portugal), exciting wildlife encounters - dolphins, whales, birds and more, and several other new (some unexpected) nature experiences, including watching a solar eclipse, being woken up by an earthquake, and seeing the northern lights for the first time.

I always love looking back at the end of every year to see which print that was the most popular. This year though, I thought it would be fun to do a roundup of the top 5 instead. So here they are, in descending order, the most popular art prints of 2024:

Photographed in Nice, France, Amour is the only print on the list that isn’t ocean-related. I love the colors and retro feel of this image, and it has become especially popular as art in bedrooms.

No. 4: California Dreaming No. 2

I photographed the California Dreaming images on Coronado beach on a warm fall day, and I was drawn to the soft pastel tones and that dreamy quality so unique to Southern California beaches. I love the sense of calm happiness in this image—a quiet moment that feels timeless; a perfect slice of beach life.

No. 3: Sunstars

Sunstars is all about the magic of light and reflection. I photographed this image on a summer day in Annisquam, Massachusetts, and I love the way the sunshine dances on the water, creating these joyful, sparkling starbursts. For me, this image is a celebration of light and its power to transform even the simplest moments into something extraordinary.

No. 2: Sailing No. 2

Sailing No. 2 is the only black-and-white print on the list this year. I photographed it back in 2006, and it has consistently been one of my most popular prints ever since. If you’ve stayed at the Atlantis Harborside Resort in the Bahamas in the past year, you might have spotted it hanging on the walls there! For me, this image is a reminder of the freedom and peaceful joy that comes with sailing on a tranquil summer day, letting go of everything and just being present in the moment.

No. 1: Sun Glitter

Sun Glitter takes the top spot again this year, holding its title as the most popular print for the second year in a row! If I had to describe the feeling of this image in one word, it would be “happy.” I love how there’s an energy to it, with that sparkling sunlight radiating positivity and warmth, but still with a peaceful, calming, almost dreamlike feel. To me, everything about it says happiness and carefree summer days spent on the coast. It’s been incredible to see how much people connect with this image, and I’m so happy it continues to resonate with so many!
