PRINTS & FRAMES
All sizes are given in inches, but each listing also has a conversion table with the equivalent sizes in centimeters.
Yes. I am a perfectionist when it comes to quality and wouldn't offer a size if I felt that the image didn't hold up to it. This is what a few of my customers have said:
“We wondered about the resolution / graininess of a large print, or quality of framing given that we couldn't see it all in person prior. It came out PERFECT, and all concerns were out the window once it arrived. The framing and resolution was
fantastic!” Jen & Roger, NYC. Purchased 2 framed 40”x60” surfing prints.
“There was a little uncertainty that the subject matter may not translate in this larger format, but the finished result exceeded our expectations. We’re thrilled with the purchase!” Carrie, Carrie Moore Interior Design. Purchased a custom cropped, framed 40”x40” water print.
Design guidelines say to choose art that is ½ – ¾ the width of the wall OR of the furniture it is being placed over.
I do! Custom framing is available for my fine art prints. The frames come in black, white, brown or natural wood. At this time, framed prints are only available in the contiguous USA, Australia, and Toronto, Canada. All framed prints are produced and shipped locally from my partner lab in each country. The turnaround time for small framed prints (up to 20x30 inches) is 3-4 weeks, and 6-9 weeks for large framed prints (24x36 inches and up).
I have partnered with local professional framers in the US, Australia, and Canada. The framers in each location are skilled craftspeople who build each frame by hand, using only archival materials and locally produced sustainable wood.
The framed prints have acrylic glass (plexiglass). I like to use that for a number of reasons: It is lighter and clearer than glass (glass often has a greenish tint), is scratch- and shatter-resistant, and gives better UV protection. The acrylic glass I use protects against 99% of UV rays.
You CAN, but the humidity is not the best for it. Framed prints are fine in half baths and powder rooms, but for more humid full bathrooms, spa areas, pool houses, etc. I recommend acrylic or metal prints instead.
All sizes listed on the product pages are print sizes; mats and frames will add to the final size. These are the final framed dimensions for my standard mats and frames for the Open Edition Fine Art prints. All measurements are in inches.

MISCELLANEOUS
Treat your fine art print as if you were a museum curator. Always wash your hands before handling a print, or even better, wear clean white cotton gloves. Always lift prints by opposite corners, and avoid touching the printed area. When taking a rolled print out of the package, do not roll it the other way since this might crease the paper and create scratches. Instead, leave it on a clean, flat surface and it will flatten itself. If you are framing your print, please wait to do so until it is completely flat. Or better yet, take the unopened package straight to your local framer and let them take care of flattening and framing it.
Note that due to the fact that every computer monitor, laptop, tablet and phone screen has a different capability to display colors and that everyone sees these colors differently, the colors of the actual print may vary slightly from what you see on your monitor.
