Below, you will find answers to some common questions. If you can't find the answer to your question here, please don't hesitate to contact me.
WILL THE IMAGE BE SHARP IF I GET A LARGE PRINT? WILL IT LOOK GOOD?
Yes! This is what a few of my customers have said:
“We wondered about the resolution / graininess of a large print, or quality of framing given that we couldn't see it all in person prior. It came out PERFECT, and all concerns were out the window once it arrived. The framing and resolution was fantastic!” Jen & Roger, NYC. Purchased 2 framed 40”x60” surfing prints.
“There was a little uncertainty that the subject matter may not translate in this larger format, but the finished result exceeded our expectations. We’re thrilled with the purchase.” Carrie, Carrie Moore Interior Design. Purchased a custom cropped framed 40”x40” water print.
CAN THE PRINTS BE CUSTOMIZED?
Some custom options are available, such as cropping, other sizes, etc. Contact me and let me know what you are looking for. I will get back to you as soon as possible to let you know if I can accommodate your request.
WHAT SIZE PRINT SHOULD I GET IF I WANT TO HANG IT OVER A COUCH?
Design guidelines say to choose art that is ½ – ¾ the width of the wall OR of the furniture it is being placed over. For more on this subject, check out this blog post I wrote about art sizing guidelines (as well as my personal, slightly offbeat approach :-) )
If you are looking for a very large print and don't see the size you want listed, please contact me and let me know what you are looking for. Many of my images can be printed extra large and I am happy to do a custom print whenever possible.
CAN I HANG A FRAMED PRINT IN MY BATHROOM?
You CAN, but the humidity is not the best for it. In half baths and guest powder rooms, framed prints are fine, but for more humid bathrooms, I recommend acrylic or metal prints instead.
WHAT UNITS ARE MEASUREMENTS IN?
All sizes are given in inches, but each listing also has a conversion table with the equivalent sizes in centimeters.
DO YOU OFFER FRAMED PRINTS?
Yes! Custom framing is available; you will see the option to add a framed print to your cart in the drop down menu on every listing. The frames come in black, white, brown, natural or warm silver, but if you need a different color, get in touch! At this time, framed prints are only available in the contiguous USA, Australia, and Toronto, Canada. At this time, the turnaround time for small framed prints (up to 20x30 inches) is 3-4 weeks, and 6-9 weeks for large framed prints (24x36 inches and up).
WHERE AND HOW ARE YOUR FRAMES MADE?
I have partnered with local professional framers in the US, Australia, and Canada. The framers in each location are skilled craftspeople who build each frame by hand, using locally produced sustainable wood.
DO THE FRAMED PRINTS HAVE REGULAR GLASS OR PLEXIGLASS?
The framed prints have acrylic glass (plexiglass). I like to use that for a number of reasons: It is lighter and clearer than glass (glass often has a greenish tint), is scratch- and shatter-resistant, and gives better UV protection.
FRAMED PRINT SIZES
All sizes listed on the product pages are print sizes; mats and frames will add to the final size. Below are print sizes with final framed dimensions. These are the average sizes - there are small variations in the final size depending on the frame you choose. All measurements are in inches:
WHAT CURRENCY ARE THE PRICES IN?
All prices are in US dollars.
DO YOU WORK WITH INTERIOR DESIGNERS?
I LOVE working with interior designers! :-) See the To the Trade page for more information.
I SAW ONE OF YOUR PHOTOS ON SOCIAL MEDIA THAT I LOVE BUT I DON’T SEE IT IN YOUR STORE. AM I ABLE TO PURCHASE IT AS A PRINT?
You might! Just get in touch and let me know what you're looking for. I’m more than happy to arrange a custom print whenever possible.
WHOLESALE & LICENSING
Inquiries are welcome!
RETURNS / EXCHANGES
All orders are custom printed and all sales are final, so please consider carefully before ordering.
Note that due to the fact that every computer monitor, laptop, tablet and phone screen has a different capability to display colors and that everyone sees these colors differently, the colors of the actual print may vary slightly from what you see on your monitor.
Treat your fine art print as if you were a museum curator. Always wash your hands before handling a print, or even better, wear clean white cotton gloves. Always lift prints by opposite corners, and avoid touching the printed area. When taking a rolled print out of the package, do not roll it the other way since this might crease the paper and create scratches. Instead, leave it on a flat clean surface and it will flatten itself without you having to do anything. If you are framing your print, please wait to do so until it is completely flat.

HOW CAN I CONTACT CATTIE COYLE?
Use the online contact form, or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Mailing address: 24 Thorndike Street, Beverly, MA 01915.
“I purchased two prints from Cattie for our nursery. They are beautiful and we love them! Cattie was quick to respond to the request for purchasing, flexible when I decided that I wanted to add on another print at a later date, and timely with the delivery. She even sent a follow up to see how our nursery turned out! Working with Cattie felt professional, but more importantly, personal.”
- Nakesha, Chicago. Purchased two 12”x12” hot air balloon prints.
