New Bird Art Prints
New in the Bird Art Collection
Summer Light
I photographed this Sandwich Tern from a boat on the ocean outside Lisbon, Portugal. I love terns, and was thrilled when I spotted this one overhead. I was lucky with the position of the sun as well, the light was beautiful, and I immediately knew I wanted sun flares in this image. They’re so dreamy and happy and summery, and I could already picture the final print in my mind. I have to say I’m really happy with how it turned out! 🙂
This print is titled Summer Light, and comes framed or unframed in sizes from small to large and oversized (48x72 inches) → Summer Light
The Flying Flamingos of Olhão
I was photographing birds at the salt pans in Olhão, Portugal, last summer, when a group of flamingos suddenly took flight in the distance. I thought it was so cute how they flew in pairs, and loved their colors against the pale blue sky. The scene almost reminded me of [very minimalistic] chinoiserie.
This is the first of my square prints that is available up to oversized 48x48 inches, both framed and unframed.

18 Spoonbills
This image was also photographed from a boat on the ocean outside Lisbon, Portugal. I happened to look up and saw this group of Spoonbills flying right overhead, and managed to get a few shots before they quickly disappeared in the distance. I love the shape of their formation, and how it looks like their wings are almost glowing in the sunshine. Plus, I think they’re such cool birds!
This print also comes framed or unframed in sizes from small to large 40x60 and oversized 48x72 inches.

These images are also available as custom canvas (click here for square canvas prints) and metal art prints (click here for square metal prints) (up to 40x60 / 48x48 inches), as well as acrylic glass prints (up to 48x72 / 48x48 inches - click here for square acrylic glass prints). Acrylic glass and metal prints are perfect if you want to hang the art on a bathroom wall; if you are planning to hang it outdoors, definitely go with metal. If you’re unsure which print type that is the best fit for you, this blog post might help; it goes deeper into the details of acrylic glass vs metal prints.
